Superb Scottish stag horn grip with silver top mount inset with fine quality faceted citrine stone. Plain blade shows slight age spotting but it is still very bright. Black leather scabbard with two silver mounts both of which are engraved with Scottish thistles. The dirk is not hallmarked but it is almost certainly silver. This example was probably originally framed and comes with original owners name card on cloth backing. The tin still retains much original painted finish. Inside the tin contains a strip of cloth with the original owners detail on card board name strip, T.FORDHAM 31ST COMY A.S.C.

WW2 BRITISH VICTORY BELL PRODUCED FROM METAL OF A SHOT DOWN GERMAN AIRCRAFT.
This bell is produced in aluminium from a shot down German aircraft and it resembles an air raid wardens bell. The bell repicks the three Allied war leaders, Churchill, Roosevelt and Starlin, with inscription, CAST IN METAL FROM GERMAN AIRCRAFT SHOT DOWN OVER BRITIAN 1939-1945. Handle depicts V for victory.
