JAPANESE WAKIZASHI ANTIQUE SHORT SWORD.
A very nice antique Japanese short sword. Cloth bound fish skin grip fitted with two metal tsuka. Black iron suba with some gilt decoration. The blade is in very nice condition. DUTCH AIRFORCE OFFICERS DAGGER, 1964 MODEL.
A very difficult dagger find and which was produced by Eickhorn. All gilt metal hilt fittings, the Royal crown pommel is highly detailed, the eagle crossguard is art deco in appearance. This example is from the period of King Edward the 7th 1901 - 1910, so was almost certainly carried during WW1. Silver metal basket hilt with King Edward royal cypher. LARGE VICTORIAN SILVER GOBLET OF THE 76TH REGIMENT.
The silver goblets sits on three highly detailed crossed rifles with a wreath of laurel leaves on a raised circular base. The goblet is engraved, WEST OF SCOTLAND RIFFLE ASSOCIATION 1863, WON BY CAPT BLAND,76TH REGT. Silver marks for London 1862 and with makers initials for Charles Boyson. Height 22 cm.
