The silver basket hilt retains almost all silver plating and it displays the George the 5th Royal cypher. The fish skin grip is in perfect condition. SOMME CASUALITY, WW1 BRITISH DEATH PLAQUE AWARDED TO CPL HADDON OF THE COLDSTREAM GUARDS.

This WW1 death penny was awarded to Lance Corporal James Henry Haddon who served with the Coldstream Guards and was killed at the battle of the Somme on the 15th of September 1916.Complete with original award case. Comes with some research on the original owner. Mint.  read more
