The blade is beautifully double etched with a floral pattern, the obverse side is stamped with the Eickhorn squirrel trade mark which was used from 1941.Matching nickel silver scabbard is in perfect condition. EDWARDIAN SWORD STICK WITH LEATHER HANDLE AND DOUBLE ETCHED BLADE.
Superb quality brown leather covered handle. High quality brown wooden scabbard / stick with a tiger striped affect. Pulling the handle from the shaft reveals a long lethal double etched blade of an ornate design and it is also marked, MADE IN SPAIN TOLEDO. The blade was probably imported in to Britain and then fitted with the handle and stick. Very high quality.

HIMMLER INK SIGNED LETTER, VERY EARLY EXAMPLE DATED 1927.
This is a very early two page letter dated 1927,this was two years before Himmler became Reichfuhrer SS, at the time when he wrote this letter he held the position of SS district leader and also NSDAP propaganda Chief. The letter is dated 4.1.1927 and his address is given as Munich so probably the NSDAP headquarters in the city. The letter was addressed to Philip Bouhler who at this time was the business manager of the NSDAP, later he would become chief of the Chancellery of the Fuhrer and an NSDAP, Reichleiter and SS Obergrupenfuhrer, in 1945 Bouler would take his own life probably because of his involvement with the Euthanasia program, the killing of the mentally ill. The letter informs Bouhler that he (Himmler) will be absent for a short period of time and during this period Bouhler must take care of arranging the various party meetings and rallies including one which the notorious Julius Streicher will be the speaker, Bouler will also need to deal with correspondence and organising displays of NSDAP posters. The letter has a good ink signature signed, H Himmler. what is also interesting is that Himmler has made at least 8 ink alterations / corrections to the letter, in latter years this would never have happened as an SS staff member would have re-typed the letter but at this time Himmler probably had to type the letter himself. Historically important letter especially for those interested in the early development of the NSDAP and the SS, I believe this is the earliest Himmler letter I have owned and it should in my opinion be of museum interest. Complete with full English translation. Exc++

PERSONALISED LUFTWAFFE 2ND MODEL DAGGER BY KLASS BELONGING TO OTTO BUGEL.
I purchased this dagger complete with straps and knot some months ago from the son of the British army veteran wo brought the dagger back to England in 1945. Excellent detail to the eagle crossguard and pommel, the top of the pommel is beautifully engraved with the original owners initials OB. The blade is by Klass Solingen and features there kissing cranes trade mark and this is a fairly difficult maker to find on Luftwaffe daggers, there is some spotting to the blade especially near the tip but over all this is still a nice blade. The scabbard still retains some original factory finish, the edge of the scabbard is beautifully jeweller engraved, OTTO BUGEL and then a town name which is, ITZEHOE . Complete with silver knot and a set of unusual Luftwaffe hangers which are interesting as the straps are produced brown cloth rather than Luftwaffe blue but with the normal double silver piping, I have no idea why but perhaps Luftwaffe troops in Afrika to match the sand brown uniform ? A very interesting personalised dagger set by a scarce maker with unusual straps and personalised with the original owners name and a town name it should be fairly simple to research the original owner of the dagger set and so discover his Luftwaffe service.
