Painted metal hilt with decoration that simulates cloth binding. Simple brass suba. The blade is stamped with arsenal mark and issue number 40893, the blade is still very bright but the cutting edge has been slightly sharpened in the past. A superb high quality miniature silver hallmarked Russian Kindjal dagger circa 1900. Silver hilt and scabbard each struck with Russian silver hallmarks and decorated overall with matching niello black enamel decoration of scrolling foliage.
