SCOTTISH MILITARY OFFICERS DIRK OF THE TRANSVALE SCOTTISH VOLUNTERS.

This Regiment was formed in1902 by the 7th Duke of Atholl from Scottish settlers living in South Africa. The unit took part in Suppressing local rebellions and then saw action in WW1 in German South West Africa and then Europe, in WW2 they served mainly in Egypt and the Middle East.
