This is the model 1856/58 Yetagan sword bayonet. The bayonet does not feature any issue stamps and apparently some of these that are not marked were were used in the American civil war. Iron hilt with chequered composition grip plates. The rifle slot is tight so it might need some oil to release it. Long impressive blade has some old age marks. Brass three bar basket hilt which is stamped on the reverse side 85. Black leather grip which still retains the grip wire. The long impressive blade is in excellent condition and it is maker marked S & K Solingen which is for Schnitzer Kirschbaum and they are a well known maker of weapons for the American civil war. A very nice Spanish stiletto dagger dating to about 1930. Celluloid grip with nickel silver mounts, the crossguard terminates with a birds claw at each end clutching a globe. A very nice Victorian cane. Pulling the handle from the shaft reveals an impressive 14cm blade which is stamped with the letter X, perhaps the makers initial. Decorative silver top in a typical Victorian style with full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1890 and with the makers initials.
