BRITISH LATE VICTORIAN OR EDWARDIAN BRASS FIREMANS HELMET.
Very nice condition brass shell with decorative brass combe to the top of the helmet decorated on both sides with a fire breathing dragon. The front of the helmet displays a large helmet plate featuring cross axes over a fire hose design. Brass chin chain with out backing material. The interior retains 50% of the original leather liner. BRITISH WW1 ARTILLERY OFFICERS SWORD WITH HANGER.
Basket hilt still retains at least 85% original silver plating. The fish skin grip is in perfect condition. The steel blade is double etched with long foliage panels featuring Royal coat of arms and Artillery designs, the blade shows some surface spotting but it could be cleaned if required. A superb solid silver cigarette case with an inlaid enamel badge of the RAMC Regiment (Royal Army Medical Corps).
