BRITISH FS COMMANDO DAGGER COMEMORATIVE.

This commemorative knife is mounted on an attractive wooden plaque. The 3rd pattern style metal ribbed handle in mint condition. Mint blued blade with inscription to the obverse side, ROYAL MARINE COMMANDOS PER MARE PER TERRAM (Regimental motto) and then the depiction of two Royal marine soldiers and also the Royal Marines cap badge with ER11 crown. I believe the reverse side of the blade is also etched with an inscription but I have not removed it from the plaque to check this. Not a WW2 knife, this is a later production commemorative but it is still collectable. Mint.
