This is a most unusual example with a black leather covered scabbard rather than the standard steel scabbard. The Aluminium eagle head hilt is in very good condition with excellent detail to the eagles head. GERMAN TENO OFFICERS DAGGER BY EICKHORN.

The orange grip is in mint condition. Almost all silver plating remaining to the crossguard with fine detail to the Teno eagle and swastika. The pommel retains 90% original silver plating with slight loss of plating to the top edge of the pommel. EICKHORN CLOTH DAGGER STORAGE BAG.

Originally from the famous Barry Brown collection. A very small quantity of these Eickhorn cloth storage bags were produced in the early 1980's for collectors and were almost identical to the original cloth dagger storage bags (today these are often sold as original).
