This is the rare model produced in 1935 with scabbard mounts held in place by large metal staples rather than screws, this was the initial production model and very similar construction to what you find on the rare 55cm DLV dagger. ARMY OFFICERS SWORD BY HOLLER.

The gilt brass hilt still retains traces of the original gilt finish with excellent detail to the closed wing army eagle and swstika.The back strap is highly decorated with oakleaves. THIRD REICH NCO SHORT MODEL FIRE SERVICE BAYONET WITH MINT SAWBACK BLADE COMPLETE WITH FROG AND KNOT.

The hilt retains at least 95% silver plating, the celluloid grip plates are in mint condition. Mint and very impressive saw back blade, the reverse side is marked Solingen. A very nice gold grade mothers cross with perfect enamel and all gilt finish remaining. The reverse side of the medal has Adolf Hitler inscription. The medal is fitted with original ribbon.
