THIRD REICH ARMY LONG MODEL PARDE BAYONET BY EICKHORN.

The hilt has lost most of its silver finish so it is now down to its grey base metal, the rifle button is in place but it no longer works, it possibly needs some oil to make it work again. The black celluloid grip plates are in good condition but there is a faint airline crack to the centre of the obverse side. This is a very early example probably dating to 1934 which was soon after the coloured bands started to be issued and it is also in extremely nice condition. All silver finish remaining to hilt fittings and with fine detail to the red cross eagle and swastika design. Mint orange grip. The blade is in mint condition and it is very impressive.
