THIRD REICH K98 BAYONET WITH POST WAR LUFTWAFFE ETCHED BLADE.

This is an original German WW2 K98 combat bayonet but in the 1960's it was altered by having the blade etched with a presentation inscription, in the 1960's this was a way of making a slow selling item much more desirable, almost all services and units were offered at the time. All early nickel silver fittings, the crossguard black enamel swastikas are in mint condition. Blue leather grip is in perfect condition.
