THIRD REICH SA DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY BICKEL COMPLETE WITH THREE PIECE HANGER.

SA dagger by Bickel are always interesting as the tang is normally marked with a swastika, but I have not striped the dagger down to confirm this as it looks like it has never been opened. All early nickel silver fittings, the lower crossguard is stamped Fr for the Franken SA Group. Superb quality grip inset with SA insignia and silver eagle which is in perfect condition. The blade is in excellent condition and still has some cross grain remaining, the obverse side features the SA motto and the reverse side the makers details, August Bickel Steinbach Hallenbrtg, there are a few age marks to the blade but no pitting and over all it is still very nice. The SA scabbard still retains much original factory finish, there is a dent to the obvers side and also another to the reverse side but they are not really an issue and probably could be removed. Complete with scarce (valuable) three piece vertical dagger hanger which comprises the short hanger, grip retaining strap and the belt loop. A really nice matching set. Exc++
