Superb quality British officers wooden swagger stick with long concealed blade, the pommel feature gilt metal royal crown and lion which is the Regimental badge for the 15th Kings Hussars. Pulling the handle away from the shaft reveals a long lethal steel blade which is maker marked, Thos Firth and it also has other proof marks. Very high quality and very impressive. Steel fluted barrels of 54 bore and they are proof marked. The frame is border and scroll engraved with top bar hammer. Chequered wooden grip with silver escutcheon, the but with hinged lidded compartment for housing balls / caps. The makers name is worn but appears to be a Bristol maker.
