WW1 SCOTTISH BASKET HILT BROADSWORD BELONGING TO CAPTAIN HAY OF THE CAMERON HIGHLANDERS.

Large silver basket hilt of the Scottish style still retaining the red insert liner, the handle is covered with fish skin, large ornate silver pommel. This is a very long massive bayonet and it is the 1914 model. Factory blued hilt, the bayonet slot is in good working order, the crossguard is stamped with an issue number. CASED 1936 OLYMPIC GAMES MEDAL.

The silver medal features the Olympic rings with date and eagle to the obverse side and with inscription to the reverse side. Attached to the medal is the original ribbon with pin and hook to the reverse side. Complete with white leatherette box of issue with the Olympic rings to the lid. A very nice example.
