A difficult dagger to find and this example dates to the 1920's or possibly the early 1930's and could certainly have been worn during the Third Reich. BRITISH WW1 LUSITANIA PLAQUE WITH ORIGINAL ISSUE BOX.

This bronze medallion commemorates the German sinking of the British passenger ship the Lusitania by a German U-boat during WW1. Silver bullion with metal fittings, the spring clips are in good working order. Kaki canvas type backing material, this is a similar type of material as tropical bayonet frogs are produced from. I believe that straps with this type of cloth backing were worn by officers serving in a tropical climate such as Africa, they are rare as in 35 years I have only owed two or three sets at the most.
