THIRD REICH ARMY ARTILLERY OFFICERS PEAKED CAP, EXCEPTIONLY LARGE SIZE.

This is probably the largest peaked caps I have ever owned, it is massive, the original owner must have been huge or at least his head was. Fine quality field grey top with dark green centre band with red piping for artillery troops. Complete with matching silver aluminium army eagle and cockade and it is fitted with silver cap cords which are held in place by two small silver buttons. The interior features gold silk lining with plain celluloid patch which is in perfect condition. The fine quality leather sweat band is also in perfect condition. The hat has a couple of tiny moth nip which are very minor and it is in exceptionally nice condition. The hat is not size marked but it is at least a 64 but probably even larger, If you are looking for a very large German army officers peaked cap I doubt if you will ever find one larger than this example. Beautiful looking cap of superior quality. Exc++
