This Lufthansa pilots badge was purchased with an assortment of WW2 German awards and badges from the son of a British Veteran who obtained the items in 1945. This metal badge features the silver pilots wings with oakleaf circle and with the Lufthansa eagle design on a Luftwaffe blue cloth backing. The reverse side features long metal pin. This is a German language newspaper promoting WW2 and NS politics, it was published in the USA in May 2000 probably because it is illegal to publish such a newspaper in Germany. Complete with a British Socialist Workers leaflet advising the British public not to vote for the far right National front party, it probably dates from the 1980's.
