GREEN CELLULOID ARMY TYPE GRIP.

Identical to a standard army dagger grip but produced in green celluloid. I have no idea what this grip is for, it could be a prototype that was never adopted or possibly for an axis dagger or even post war, it looks old and has age. This is the scarce model with circular holes in the scabbard bands often described as the social welfare model but it is probably a makers variation, but they are certainly harder to find than the standard model and most collectors wish to own both types.
