THE NSDAP 1939 REICHSPATEITAG AWARD PLAQUE IN SILVER, COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL BOX OF ISSUE.

This very attractive and rare large size plaque was designed by Klein and was to be awarded at the NSDAP 1939 party rally at Nuremburg in 1939 but as war was declared in September 1939 the rally was cancelled. Large circular silver medallion featuring a women with child with a large open wing eagle and swastika and inscription, 1939 REICHSPARTEITAG. The reverse side features a second inscription. Complete with rare black leatherette box of issue, the interior of the lid is printed with makers name, Carl Poellath Schrobenhausen. The lid has become detached from the base but all parts are still remaining so it can be repaired if required. A rare and difficult to find NSDAP award. Exc++
