GERMAN RAD OFFICERS DAGGER BY WUSTHOF.

The silver plated eagles head hilt has a nice black age patina as the dagger has never been cleaned, there is some slight lifting to the plating which they often have, the crossguard features the wheat sheaf and swastika. DLV / LUFTWAFFE 1ST MODEL DAGGER BY GEBR HELLER.

This is the rare model produced in 1935 with scabbard mounts held in place by large metal staples rather than screws, this was the initial production model and very similar construction to what you find on the rare 55cm DLV dagger.
