The German National sports badge, 1937 pattern incorporating the swastika in the design. This actually appears to be a gold grade award but unfortunately only traces of the original gilt finish remains and that is mainly on the reverse side. This example still retains much original gilt finish. Fine detail to the eagle and swastika pommel and crossguard. The white celluloid grip is in mint condition. The blade is in near mint condition and it is etched with the dolphin and fouled anchor design, the reverse side is stamped with the 1941 pattern Eichhorn Solingen squirrel trade mark.
