A superb and extremely rare set of straps for the Diplomatic of Government officials dagger. The silver brocade is in fine condition with gilt metal fittings. The reverse side of the straps are constructed in dark blue almost black velvet. Straps with gold metal fittings were worn only by Ambassadors or Government ministers and there highest ranking assistant's, lower ranking officials wore straps with silver fittings, these straps would also be correct for the extremely rare gold RMBO Government officials dagger.
