DLV / LUFTWAFFE 1ST MODEL DAGGER BY GEBR HELLER.

This is the rare model produced in 1935 with scabbard mounts held in place by large metal staples rather than screws, this was the initial production model and very similar construction to what you find on the rare 55cm DLV dagger. THIRD REICH U.BOAT CLASP IN BRONZE.

A very nice badge with excellent detail to the U.Boat and eagle and still retains some bronze finish especially in the recesses. Reverse side features the correct style fluted pin with hook and it is also maker marked, ENTWURF PEEKHAUS AUSF SCHWERIN BERLIN 68. A very difficult to find and desirable badge.
