ORIGINAL NSDAP BATTLE OF COBURG BOOK.

A very rare book by Schwede Coburg who was the Gauleiter of Coburg and it was published in 1943. Book contains over 270 pages including 16 pages of photographs. Red hard back cloth cover with the book title and the design of the Coburg badge in gold. The book describes the 1922 battle for the City of Coburg when Adolf Hitler took a small group of early NSDAP supporter to the city of Coburg and took on the Communist and Marxists who were occupying the city, the reds were defeated by the NSDAP and this was Hitler first victory out side of Munich. A very rare Gau badge was instituted in 1932 by the NSDAP to commemorate this event and only 436 were awarded making it one of the rarest NSDAP awards. A rare book and it is the only copy I have ever offered for sale, if you collect Coburg items or early NSDAP material this is a must have book. Exc++
