RLB 1ST PATTERN MANS DAGGER.

All original silver plated fitting are in fine condition just showing light age wear, with fine detail to the art deco style eagle and swstika.The black wooden grip is in perfect condition which is rare for this model as they are normally damaged and it is complete with the scarce 1st pattern RLB insignia which incorporates blue enamel RLB letters and small swastika, the blue enamel is still 90% complete which is nice to see as it is often completely missing so again this is unusual to see. Blade is close to near mint condition, it is really impressive and retains much original cross grain, the reverse side is maker marked Ernst Erich Witte Solingen and featured there Kroneck diamond trade mark. The scabbard retains 95% original black paint . Complete with original leather hanger and metal spring clip, these hangers are often missing so it is nice to fine one complete. The 1st model RLB dagger is much harder to find than the 2nd model. Exc++
