GREEN CELLULOID ARMY TYPE GRIP.

Identical to a standard army dagger grip but produced in green celluloid. I have no idea what this grip is for, it could be a prototype that was never adopted or possibly for an axis dagger or even post war, it looks old and has age. This is the scarce slotted model which is much harder to find than the solid hilt type. Fine detail to the nickel silver eagle head hilt, the rifle slot is in good working order. Luftwaffe dagger knot, the acorn is considerably smaller than the standard type, please see last photograph for size comparison. The small bullion ball is now missing. Would look very nice on a Government official dagger as the acorn is a similar size. Near mint.  read more

GERMAN CROSS IN GOLD BY ZIMMERMANN, MINT CONDITION.

This is a superb example of a German cross in gold in almost mint condition. All gilt remaining to wreath, the black enamel swastika is in mint condition and the silver disk retains almost all frosted finish. The reverse side of the cross features four tiny rivets and it is fitted with pin and hook, the reverse side of the pin is stamped 20 which is the makers code for C.F.Zimmermann. PERSONALISED SA DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY ED GEMBRUCH, COMPLETE WITH HANGER.

Gembruch is very desirable maker as they are better known for there ultra rare SS daggers.
