SS DAGGER 1933 MODEL, RZM EXAMPLE WITH VERTICAL HANGER AND BELT LOOP.

The silver plated hilt fitting are in excellent condition just showing slight age wear. The black wooden grip is in fine condition and it is complete with silver eagle and SS runes. The blade is in excellent condition and still retains some cross grain, the obverse side features the SS motto which is still very nice and clear, the reverse side is maker marked, RZM M7/80 1197/38 SS which is the makers code for Gustav Spitzer, see Tom Wittmann's excellent SS reference book page 172 for a similar example by the same maker. The scabbard retains 98% original black paint and it is fitted with matching silver plated fittings. Complete with black leather vertical hanger which is marked inside but it is rather faint now and black leather belt loop. A very nice complete set, it is difficult to find an RZM period SS dagger as nice as this one and if you have an early example this one would make a nice set. Exc++
