Metal ribbed grip is in excellent condition, simple oval crossguard. The blade shows wear and some age marks but it is still in excellent condition. BRUNSWICK GAU BADGE, CUT FROM A POLITICAL TUNIC ON CLOTH BACKING.
This Gau badge was awarded to commemorate the 1931 party rally held at Brunswick and it is the 2nd pattern. This very nice and interesting badge is still attached to part of the original owners brown shirt, it has literally been cut of his uniform. The reverse side is maker marked, RZM M1/17, the pin has been been removed and four tiny holes expertly applied so the original owner could attach the badge to his uniform by stitching it into place, which is actually a good idea as the pin on these badges have a habit of braking. A fascinating piece of history. [Condition: Exc++]
BRAUNSCHWEIG GAU BADGE.
This is the second pattern badge with RZM markings. This attractive Gau badge features the early style NSDAP eagle with inscription below in wreath, SA TREFFEN BRAUNSCHWEIG 17/18 OKTOBER 1931. The badge received official recognition as an award on the 6th of November 1936 and was awarded to all party members who had taken part in this 1931 rally. The reverse side features large safety pin style hook and it is also marked, RZM M1/35 GES GESCH. A beautiful example with all factory finish remaining. [Condition: Mint]

ORIGINAL LATE 1930\'S BOOK, UNIFORMEN DER DEUTSCHEN WEHRMACHT.
Uniforms of the German armed forces, this original book was published circa 1938 and covers the Army, Luftwaffe and Navy. Red leatherette cover with title to spine, book contains approcamatly 150 pages with many full colour illustrations of military uniforms, It also features pages on insignia, qualification badges such as the Luftwaffe retired pilot and the Army paratroopers badge and much more. Some extra pages or inserts have been added to the book as new regulations were introduced during the war years. At the later part of the book there are illustration's of the various daggers available which is very interesting as the army example has a much darker grip than the naval and airforce examples confirming that army daggers were issued with orange grips and not what some believe that it is just the celluloid changing colour from white to orange over time. The book served a similar function as the NSDAP organisation book and has many similarities including the colour of the cover and the coloured uniform illustrations. Mounted to the cover of the book is a metal political style cap eagle which was probably added by the original owner, the two metal pins are still in place to the revers side of the eagle, the eagle has value and is collectable and can be removed from the book if required. Near mint.
SA DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY PACK WITH MATCHING ISSUE NUMBERS.
Fine quality brown wooden grip inset with SA insignia and silver eagle, there are a couple of tiny nicks close to the crossguard but they are very minor. All early nickel silver fittings, the reverse side of the lower guard is stamped with an SA group mark Nrh for Niederrhein and then it is deeply stamped with issue number, 14 34227 which is the Standarter (Regiment) number and the owners SA membership number. The blade is etched on the obverse side with the SA motto, the reverse side is maker marked, EP & S (Pack) Solingen with there Siegfried man with hammer trade mark, there is some faint age spotting to the blade but over all it is still very nice. Complete with brown anodised scabbard with matching nickel silver mounts, the ball to the lower fitting is dented as they often are, the reverse side of the upper fitting is stamped with matching SA issue numbers, 14 34227, it is also very interesting that the number was stamped with such force that it literally dented the fitting, this is the deepest stamping I have ever seen. A most interesting SA dagger. Exc++
