POLITICAL LEADERS ARM BAND OF GAU LEVEL.
A superb red wool arm band with white circle and black swastika which is highlighted in gold. Red edge piping and with gold bullion oakleaf borders to top and bottom for GAU LEITER EINER STELLE (Leader of a post). RZM paper label to the inside of the arm band.Two small moth nips on the reverse side but other than that this rare arm band is in beautiful condition. [Condition: Near Mint]
LUFTWAFFE SINGLE DECAL STEEL HELMET.
This is an M42 model raw edge helmet and it is also a good large size which are always desirable with collectors. The helmet retains about 80% original field grey paint. The helmet features the 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle which is about 70% complete, the swastika is fairly worn but it is still about 20% remaining. The interior retains the original leather liner, it is complete but shows wear. It also has chin strap attached which is still in good condition. The shell is stamped, hK 066 3057. Exc+
WW1 GERMAN SAWBACK 1898/05 BAYONET AND FROG.
This model is often described as the butcher bayonet because of its massive clever like blade and this example has a impressive looking sawback blade and is in excellent condition. The metal hilt still retains some original factory bluing and the reverse side of the pommel has an imperial Waffen amp stamp. The brown wooden grip plates are in excellent condition. Matching steel scabbard is also in good condition and has several waffen amp stamps. Complete with webbing type frog, it is not the correct model for this bayonet but it has been on it for a very long time and cannot be removed. Exc++
ITALIAN FASICST YOUTH DAGGER.
These daggers were worn by boys in the Italian fascist youth organisation which was the equivalent to the Hitler Youth. Eagles head hilt still retains much original gilt finish. The black leather wire bound grip is in fine condition. Near mint plain blade. Black leather scabbard is also in fine condition and the reverse side is fitted with a leather belt loop. Near mint.
BRITISH MILITARY SWORD STICK.
Black lacquered cane with large silver top with Regimental badge, The Queens Regiment. Pulling the handle from the stick reveals a long lethal 4 sided blade ending at a sharp point at the tip. This British Regiment was formed in the 1960's and served mainly in Ireland during the troubles, a weapon like this might have been very handy when on leave or out and about. The Regiment was disbanded in the 1990's. Exc++
JAPANEASE TANTO DAGGER.
Black cloth bound grip with double matching tsuka, decorative gilt mounts to hilt. Attractive suba with gilt flower decoration. High quality blade with some faint age marks and scratches but over all this is still a very nice blade, the blade tang has rust and age but it does not appear to be signed. Brown lacquered saya (scabbard) with gilt metal mounts that matches the tanto hilt fittings, it is fitted with its two small knives which have matching handles with silver inlay. A very attractive high quality antique Japanese Tanto dagger. Blade approcamatly 8 inches or 20cm long, total length with Saya 14inches or 35cm. Exc++
THIRD REICH NAVAL OFFICERS DAGGER WITH ORANGE GRIP AND ETCHED BLADE BY WKC, HAMMERED SCABBARD AND GO
This is a beautiful example that has not been cleaned for many years. All brass hilt fittings still retaining some gilt finish with excellent detail to the eagle pommel and the crossguard. The orange grip is in perfect condition and it is an extremely attractive colour, they are much hard to find than the white grip type and are only normally seen with a couple of makers including WKC. The double etched blade in in excellent condition and it features the dolphin and fouled anchor design, the obverse side is stamped with the WKC makers mark. The matching hammered scabbard is also in fine condition. Complete with very attractive gold knot. Exc++
POLITICAL LEADERS GORGET WITH MATCHING CHAIN HANGER.
The NSDAP gorget was only worn by the flag bearer of an NSDAP district and they are very attractive and impressive. Massive gilt shield with large gold open wing eagle and swastika. The gorget retains its original green wool backing and one of the suspension loops is marked RZM M1/102. Complete with long chain hanger made up of 31 links and each one decorated with an eagle and swastika or a swastika with four oakleaves, one of the lower links is stamped RZM M1/102 and which matches the markings on the gorget and which is nice to see as often they do not match. A very nice example, often the shields are dented but this one is perfect. Near mint.
HITLER YOUTH KNIFE, VERY EARLY EXAMPLE WITH MOTTO.
This is a very nice early quality Hitler you knife with motto and those with motto's have become very hard to find over the last few years and are very desirable. Silver plated hilt is in very nice condition and retains much original silver finish. The black celluloid grip plates are in perfect condition and the enamel HJ swastika diamond badge is in mint condition. The blade is also in extremely nice condition, the obverse side features the HJ motto, BLUT UND EHRE, which translates to, Blood and Honour, the reverse side features the makers name, C.D.Schaaff Solingen with there man with pipe trademark, the blade is also marked Ges Gesschutzt (patent pending). The scabbard retains 85% original black paint and it is fitted with a black leather belt loop with grip retaining strap and the button is still in good working order. It is interesting to note that the new HJ book mentions that early HJ daggers by Schaaff are very rare, it is certainly the first one I have owned. Exc++
NSKK CHAINED LEADERS DAGGER BY EICKHORN.
The NSKK chained leaders dagger is one of the harder daggers to find and they are a lot rarer than the chained SS dagger. Brown wooden grip is in mint condition and is complete with SA insignia and silver eagle. The crossguards still retain almost all the silver plating and are in remarkable condition. The blade is in mint condition and the obverse side features the motto, ALLES FUR DEUTSCHLAND, the reverse side is marked, RZM M7/66 1939 and which is the code for Eickhorn. The scabbard retains 99% black paint with just some slight scratches and age wear. The scabbard is fitted with three silver metal fitting which are in superb condition . Complete with chain hanger retaining four upper link and five lower link, the spring clip is in good working order, two of the upper links are marked on the reverse side, one bearing the chain makers mark, RZM M5/8 and the second link is marked, MUSTERSCHUT NSKK KORPSFURUNG. A vey nice example. Near mint.
