SA LEADERS TUNIC TYRE RUNE ARM INSIGNIA FROM VICTOR LUTZE\'S FAMILY.

SA LEADERS TUNIC TYRE RUNE ARM INSIGNIA FROM VICTOR LUTZE\'S FAMILY.

The tyre rune was worn by those who had attended the Reichsfuhrerschule. This example comes from the well known Ivor Bush Collection, Ivor specialised in items that belonged to the SA Stabscheff Victor Lutze, at one time he owned several of his daggers, documents, insignia and many photographs. I visited Ivor at his home in London on a number of occasions and I remember that he explained that the Tyre Rune was a gift to him from the Lutze family back in the 1970's, the Lutze family were personal friends of his and he visited and stayed with them many times. Black cloth arrow which is machine stitched on white backing which is then attached red backing cloth. Complete with a photograph of Victor Lutze which clearly shows him wearing a similar Tyre Rune on his tunic, the reverse side of the photograph has Ivor Bush name and address label and photograph details.
