CASED POLICE 25 YEAR LONG SERVICE CROSS IN GOLD.
A very nice cased set. The cross still retains 100% original gilt finish. The blue silk ribbon is the desirable type with embroidered police eagle and swastika. Complete with difficult to find original police green leatherette case with 25 (years of service) in gold to the lid. Near mint.
SS EIGHT YEAR LONG SERVICE MEDAL.
Fine detail to the swastika with SS runes to the center, the reverse side is marked FUR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS. The medal is fitted with the correct style beveled ring and tear drop suspension loop. Complete with blue silk ribbon. The SS long service awards were only awarded to members of the Waffen SS and the SD. [Condition: Near Mint]
LUFTWAFFE RECONNAISSANCE BAR IN BRONZE.
The bar still retains 95% original bronze finish with separately applied silver eagle head. The reverse side features a long pin and silver rivet which holds the eagles head in place, the hook has been removed. Purchased privately with a Luftwaffe dagger and a cloth pilot observers badge. This Luftwaffe bar has never been in collection. This badge is priced considerably less than normally they are because of the missing hook, so it is a bargain price. Near mint.
LUFTWAFFE PARATROOPERS BADGE.
Fine detail to the diving eagle, the very tip of the long eagle wing is now missing but it is not really noticeable until pointed out as it is so tiny. The reverse side is stamped with a capital A for the Assmann company and complete with pin and hook. A good combat used example with a lot of history. Exc++
GERMAN ARMY M40 SINGLE DECAL HELMET WITH BATTLE DAMAGE.
The field grey paint is in excellent condition. The army eagle decal is in fine condition with at least 95% remaining with just a few tiny scratches. The helmet has been hit by shrapnel during the war and so there is an entry hole to the top right hand side of the helmet and there is also a mild depression on the reverse side of the helmet, all really fascinating and certainly adds to the interest. The interior features a brown leather liner with some minor damage also possibly from shrapnel. The helmet rim is stamped D136 and NS64 . No chin strap available. Exc++
CASED WW2 IRON CROSS 1ST CLASS BY ZIMMERMANN RARE CONVEX EXAMPLE.
This is a very nice and difficult to find deluxe quality convex iron cross and which still retains about 95% original black paint with good high swastika. The reverse side features pin and hook, the pin is stamped 20 on the reverse side and this is the makers code for C.F. Zimmermann who are very well known for there beautiful German cross awards. Complete with black leatherette box with iron cross design to the lid. Exc++
CASED NAVAL BLOCKADE BRACKERS WAR BADGE COMPLETE WITH MINIATURE BADGE.
A superb naval blockade brackers badge that still retains all factory blue finish to the ship and silver frosting to the eagle and swastika. The reverse side is fitted with pin and hook and it is maker marked, FEC OTTOPLACZEK BERLIN AUSF SCHWERINBERLIN. Complete with miniature stick pin of this award and also the difficult to find blue leatherette case which is factory fitted for the large and small badges. Near mint.
ARMY PRINZE EUGENE OFFICERS SWORD BY EICKHORN.
This model sword was worn by army officers but it was also worn by officers serving with the Waffen SS (photographs exist showing this model sword being worn by Waffen SS officers). Highley detailed hilt with large open wing eagle and swastika to the crossguard and also a second closed wing eagle and swastika to the back strap, some of the gilt finish is worn away with age and it now has a very attractive silver appearance in the SS style. Black celluloid grip with small old repair to the celluloid just under the knuckle bow hilt, please see photographs. The blade is in near mint condition with just some slight old scratches close to the edge of the blade but it has not been sharpened, the blade is stamped with the post 1941 Eickhorn Solingen trade mark. The scabbard retains 70% original black paint. Not a mint sword but still very collectable as it is a hard model to find and always in demand Exc+
SS POLICE OFFICERS SWORD BY WKC.
The hilt of the sword retains 98% original silver plating. The black wooden grip is in perfect condition and it is inset with silver police badge. The blade is in mint condition, the obverse side features the WKC makers trademark the reverse side is stamped with the SS runes and it is fitted with a white buffer pad (white buffer pads are often seen on SS swords, the police normally use black). The scabbard retains at least 95% original black paint and it is fitted with matching silver plated fittings. This is a really nice SS police officers sword. EXC++ or better.
GERMAN 1ST MODEL LUFTWAFFE / DLV DAGGER BY EICKHORN.
This Luftwaffe dagger is of very early production from 1935 and has a solid leather scabbard with the fittings held in place by staples rather than screws. Early nickel silver hilt fittings with inlaid swastikas to pommel and crossguard. The blue leather grip is in very nice condition. The blade is near mint condition with just slight wear to the reverse side, the blade is stamped with the Eickhorn Solingen early small oval trade mark which was used from 1933 / 1935 . The scabbard is the very early style which was produced as a solid leather shell (the latter standard scabbard is leather over a metal shell with fitting held in place by screws) and with three nickel silver mounts held in place by by a single large metal staple to the revers side of each, the mounts have several small wearing dents but they are very minor. Complete with matching chain hanger. Exc++
