SS CHAINED LEADERS DAGGER 1936 MODEL.
All the silver plated fittings are in fine condition. The black wooden grip is in perfect condition and it is inset with the SS runic insigne and silver eagle. The blade is in near mint condition and features the SS motto on the obverse side, the reverse side is plain with out a makers name which is correct for the SS officers chained dagger. The scabbard retains 98% original black paint and it is fitted with matching silver plated fittings which are also in fine condition, the centre mount is decorated with six linked swastikas. The chain is the type two pattern and the links are decorated with skulls and SS runes, the reverse side of one of the links is stamped with the SS kulturzeichen mark. A very nice example. Exc++
GOLD PARTY BADGE OF THE NSDAP.
This is a large 30mm example by Deschler in very nice condition. The enamel centre is in perfect condition with just a minor age scratches which they almost all have but no chips or cracks. The wreath still retains much original gilt finish. The reverse side is fitted with the safety pin fitting, the pin plate is marked, Deschler & Sohn Munchen 9, the badge is also marked GES GESCH and it is stamped with the original owners NSDAP membership number 75518.The NSDAP number has not been researched. Gold party badges have become very difficult to find over the last few years. Near mint.
SA DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY ED GEMBRUCH WITH ORIGINAL HANGER.
This is an early quality dagger that I purchased privately and it has never been in a collection. Fine quality wooden grip is in superb condition and it is complete with SA insignia and silver eagle. Early nickel silver fittings, the lower crossguard reverse side is stamped Ho for the Hochland SA group. The blade is in close to near mint condition, the obverse side features the SA motto with factory frosting, the revers side is maker marked ED.GEMBRUCH SOLINGEN with there fish trade mark, there are a few age marks mainly to the reverse side of the blade but it is still extremely nice. Ed Gembruch is a rare maker to find as they only produced 2000 SA daggers, on the SA rarity scale it is a 9 out of 10, this company also produced SS daggers which are also extremely rare. Brown anodised scabbard retains some factory finish, it is fitted with matching nickel silver mounts. Complete with brown leather hanger. ExC++
ARMY OFFICERS LIONS HEAD SWORD BY CLEMEN & JUNG WITH EARLY STYLE SHORT WING EAGLE.
Superb and very large gilt lions head hilt with red glass eyes, the crossguard eagle is the scarce very early short wing type and very similar to what you see on early SA and NSDAP hats, the eagle is clutching a swastika and the detail is superb, army swords featuring this early style eagle are difficult to find. The black celluloid grip is in excellent condition. Mint blade by Clemen & Jung Solingen featuring there shield and Z trade mark. The scabbard retains 85% original black paint. A very nice and impressive army officers sword with scarce and unusual early style eagle and swastika. The sword measures approcamatly 38 inches or 97cm long. Exc++
WW1 GERMAN DEMAG FIGHTING KNIFE.
Steel crank handle with rifle slot so the knife can be used as a fighting knife or a bayonet, the handle has lost its original paint finish but it is still in very nice condition and bayonet slot is still in working order. The blade is very impressive as it is in near mint condition, the obverse side is stamped, DEMAG DUISBURG in a circle and the reverse side is stamped, Gesetzlich Geschutzt. Complete with steel scabbard still retaining some original factory bluing and it is fitted with a black leather belt loop and grip retaining strap, the popper button is still in good working order. JAPANESE ANTIQUE TANTO DAGGER.
Very attractive lacquered grip produced in an attractive speckled design. The brass hilt fittings still retain traces of the original gilt finish and it is decorated with four family mons. The blade measures approcamatly 6 inches or 16cm. The attractive scabbard matches the hilt fittings and is decorated with five family mons and also a floral design. Approcamatly 10 inches or 26cm in size. Circa 1880. Exc++
WW2 GERMAN ARMY OFFICERS CRUSHER CAP OF THE GENERAL STAFF.
This is an interesting example as the owner has opted to add a pair of silver cap cords and two retaining buttons to the hat. High quality field grey top with dark green wool centre band and carmine piping for the general staff. Complete with silver aluminium eagle and silver bullion cockaded with metal centre. The black visor is the soft crushable type. The interior of the hat features grey sweat band showing light wear but no damage, grey silk lining and a plain celluloid diamond. A few tiny moth nips to the crown of the hat but over all the hat is in fine condition and certainly very impressive and General staff hats are very difficult to find. Exc++
ARMY OFFICERS DAGGER WITH DELUX DOUBLE ETCHED BLADE, VOOS STYLE AND COMPLETE WITH STRAPS AND KNOT.
Army officers dagger with very rare double etched blade, this complete set has only recently come on to the collector market and it has never been in a collection before. All silver fittings are in fine condition with excellent detail to the pommel and the eagle crossguard. The orange grip is in mint condition. The blade is in exceptional condition and it is also very impressive, the obverse side features a long oakleaf panel with the army eagle and swastika as the central design, under the eagle wings is the all import floral sprigs, the reverse side of the blade features a long foliage decorative panel, the blade is not maker marked but from the style of the etch the maker is obviously, Emil Voos Solingen. The matching silver plated scabbard is also in fine condition with no dents or other damage. Complete with silver knot and a set of deluxe quality straps, the silver brocade and metal fittings are in very nice condition but the reverse side of the straps show some wear and age from being worn. A very nice complete set, army daggers with etched blades are very hard to find, especially the Voos style as this is the type most collector prefer. Near mint..
WW2 BRITISH INFANTRY OFFICERS SWORD.
This is a superb British officers sword in almost mint condition and it is a WW2 King George the 6th example which are much harder to find than the WW1 model. Silver basket hilt with King George the 6th Royal cypher and it retains all silver plating. The fish skin grip is in perfect condition. Near mint double etched blade featuring royal cypher and coat of arms set in decorative panels, the obverse side has the official proof mark, the reverse side features makers details, Alkit Ltd Cambridge Circus London WC2.The matching brown leather scabbard is also in fine condition. Complete with sword frog hanger and sword knot. A superb officers sword and it is probably imposable to find a better example. Near mint.
DOCUMENT GROUPING BELONGING TO HITLER YOUTH LEADER AND BLOOD ORDER HOLDER.
This set belonged to Emil Hoffmann who was an NSDAP member and an HJ officer and comprises the following documents and photographs. Fuhrerschein ID document dated the 2.8.1939 complete with photograph of Hoffmann with various entreys and issue stamps. Large post card size photograh of Hoffmann wearing full HJ leaders uniform with his various awards and wearing HJ peak cap, he is depicted standing with various family members. Post card size photograph of Hoffmann wearing HJ leaders brownshirt with shoulder straps. Small photograph of Hoffmann wearing civilian clothes and with HJ & NSDAP badges clearly visible, the photograph has been removed from some type of ID card. Photograph of Hoffmann dated 1924 with longs inscription to the reverse side. Nazi NSKOV Ausweis ID card dated 1938 with photograph of Hoffmann. Hunting association membership card dated 1940 with good clear photograph of Emil Hoffmann. The set also comes with some research which comprises several photocopy documents which shows that Hoffmann was born in 1900, he joined the NSDAP in 1930 and lived in Koln, he was awarded various HJ & NSDAP awards including the very rare 2nd pattern blood order medal in 1939 and which he is listed in the 2150-2200 series of BO numbers in the official award list. An interesting grouping to a highly decorated HJ and NSDAP member, items connected to blood order holders are very rare. [Condition: Exc++]
