CASED WW2 GERMAN CROSS IN GOLD BY C.F.ZIMMERMANN, SUPERB CONDITION.
A fine example of this high bravery award which is in mint condition.The black enamel swastika is in mint condition, all silver frosting remaining to the backing plate, 100% gilt remaining wreath with date 1941, all factory blacking remaining to the sunburst. The reverse side features four rivets, pin and hook with makers number 20 which is the makers code for C.F.Zimmermann. The black leatherette case shows just slight wear just as you would expect after all these years but it has perfectly preserved and protected the award which is in mint condition, it would be very difficult to improve on this one as it is one of the nicest cased examples I have owned. COMPLETE SA UNIFORM BELONGING TO AN SA NCO COMPRISING, TUNIC, KEPI, BREECHES, BELT AND BUCKLE.
This extremely rare set belonged to one man and has never been in a collection before, the original owner served with the SA Group Sudmark in Austria. This SA four pocket brown tunic is the extremely rare SA Bergrock or mountain tunic and this is the first example i have owned in over 30 years, although i have sold many of the standard brown SA tunics.The brown wool tunic features two upper patch pocket and two lower slash pockets, attached to the front of the tunic are 4 silver buttons similar to a standard SA tunic but above this is a 5th metal button and a brown celluloid button so the tunic can be worn closed at the neck which was unique to the SA bergrock tunic, the collar of the tunic is piped in pink and white this being the SA group colours, the matching collar patches are also pink, the right collar patch features a single rank bar and metal pip for the rank of SA Oberscharfuhrer, the left collar patch features crossed metal pick and spade for the pioneers and the SA unit number for a member of the staff of SA Sturm 20.The tunic is fitted with correct single shoulder strap, pink and white piping on pink backing. Attached to the upper left pocket is a woven brown SA lanyard, the tunic is complete with swastika arm band, the interior features paper RZM tag and also an official SA unit stamp which is marked, Pionier Sturm 20 / GP5 Neselbach (this is a small town near Graz in Austria), this stamping perfectly matches the tunic collar patch unit number. There are loops on the tunic for one award and medal ribbon bar.The interior of the tunic is semi lined in the typical late 1930s style and it is complete with a cloth RZM tag. Brown wool ribbed breeches are the style worn by the SA and also other party organizations such as the HJ and NSDAP. Brown leather belt complete with brass buckle featuring the SA eagle and swastika. SA kepi, fine looking example showing light wear and produced in brown wool with a pink (Sudmark) center band, attached to the side of the kepi is a pink patch with silver aluminum edelweiss which is the unique insignia for the Sudmark SA group, the front of the kepi features silver eagle, single silver button and brown leather chin strap, the interior of the hat has a brown water proof lining and a leather sweat band, there is also a large black issue stamp which is a little worn now but appears to be, Unverkauflick GR.R. SA GU. An extremely rare and important complete SA uniform, a great addition for an SA collector, uniform collector or museum, this is probably one of the nicest and rarest SA uniforms i have owned. SA FORAGE CAP FOR SA GROUP SUDMARK.
This hat was purchased along with the complete SA NCO'S Sudmark uniform which is also on the site. Brown wool SA forage cap produced in the typical political style with silver button to the front of the hat, attached to the side of the hat is silver machine woven eagle on pink triangular patch which is the group colour for SA group Sudmark which was based in Austria.Interior of the hat features a brown cotton lining with cloth RZM tag attached.The hat has a couple of tiny moth nips but over all it is in fine condition. CASED THIRD REICH TENO HONOUR BADGE.
A fine example with excellent detail to the eagle, the enamel Teno swastika insignia is in perfect condition, at the bottom of the badge is the date 1922.The reverse side features pin and hook, the pin is maker marked, Wilhelm Fuhner Pforzheim, the badge is also marked Ges Gesch (Patent pending) and the issue number 1315. Complete with black leatherette case , the base of the box has the original paper label with issue number 1315 which matches the number on the badge, the interior of the lid is lined in white silk and the base of the box is white velvet which is fitted to accommodate the award. The Teno badge was instituted in 1935 as an awarded for long membership in the Teno organization, the date box gives the year the owner joined the organization. A rare award especially when cased and with matching issue numbers.[Condition: Mint]
GERMAN FIRE SERVICE PRESENTATION AXE.
This is one of the more desirable type with a highly engraved Axe head (most are plain with out decoration). The silver axe head is double engraved with floral designs and is very impressive and it is in extremely nice condition. The black wooden shaft is in perfect condition just showing light age as you would expect, it is fitted with two silver suspension rings, the handle is fitted with two silver presentation plaques, one to each side and both are engraved with presentation inscriptions. Fire axe's are very rare, this is the first example I have offered for sale for several years and it is an especially nice example of presentation quality with an inscription. [Condition: Exc++]
CASED NAZI AGRICULTURAL MEDALLION.
Large bronze medallion,obverse side features a large eagle and swastika with the eagle looking over its shoulder,with insciption,Der Reichsminister fur Ernahrung und Landwirtschaft Fur Zuchterische Teisrungen,reverse side features a flock of nine sheep and inscription below,Staats Ehrenpreis (state honor prize).Complete with black leatherette case of issue,the lid of the case features a superb large open wing gilt eagle,the inside base of the box is constructed in red velvet and inside lid of the box is white silk,the design of the award has imprinted into the white silk.Unusual rare agricultural award that would have been awarded by the Reich agricultural minister,Richleiter and SS general Richard Walther Darre.The Medallion has a nice old age patina as it has never been cleaned. SILVER CUP PRESENTED BY HERMANN GORING AT A HUNTING CONTEST IN 1939.
Silver marked two handle cup standing at just under 6 inches in total height.The obverse side has enameled Goring family coat of arms with his name engraved below.The reverse side features a four line presentation inscription, FUR TREUE DEINSTE IN DER DEUTSCHE JAGERSCHAFT 1889 - 1939 HERMAN GORING (50 years service in the Hunting association). The base has 800 silver German marks.[Condition: Exc++]
CASED HITLER YOUTH AWARD IN GOLD.
A very rare award, this is the first example I have owned of this Hitler youth award. Gold square plaque featuring the German eagle with large Hitler youth swastika diamond and with inscription, LEISTVNGSSCHAV DER THUR HITLER JUGGEND 1939, DEM SIEGER. The reverse side of the award is stamped with the makes details.This award was presented at the yearly HJ competition which was held in the various Gau's and this one being the gold grade was presented to the victor of the competition in the Thuringen Gau. Size about 3 inches. Complete with rare blue leatherette presentation box, the interior of the lid of the box is constructed in white silk and the base of the box is blue velvet and which is inset for the award. A most unusual and rare HJ award which would look great displayed with other HJ awards or perhaps with some HJ daggers. [Condition: Near Mint]
KNIGHTS CROSS ISSUE OF THE ART MAGAZINE, DIE KUNST IM DEUTSCHEN REICH.
This is the October 1942 issue of the Third Reich monthly art magazine, this particular issue is the most sort after of all as it features an extensive article on the impressive Knights cross award documents with many full colour photograph's of the documents, it also includes the oakleaves, swords, diamonds and even Hermann Goring's grand cross document. [Condition: Exc++].
CASED LUFTWAFE PILOTS BADGE BY BSW.
This is a beautiful example of a pilots badge and certainly one of the nicest i have owned for a very long time.The wreath still retains almost all original silver frosted finish, fine detail to the factory blued flying eagle which is clutching a large swastika in its talons.The reverse side features pin and hook and makers details, a clover leaf with the initials BSW. Complete with original matching BSW blue leatherette issue box with award details to lid. A really fine example.[Condition: Near Mint]
