IMPERIAL GERMAN WW1 M16 CAMOFLAGE HELMET.
This is a superb example of the classic German WW1 steel helmet. MATCHED PAIR OF NSDAP GOLD PARTY BADGES.

The matching small 25mm badge still retains some gilt finish to the oakleaves border, the enamel shows slight ware from being worn but it is very nice. The reverse side features matching NSDAP membership number, as often happens the pin has been replaced but almost certainly by the original owner (the pins being fairly fragile often broke during there wearing life and had to be repaired or replaced), although not maker marked it is by Fuess (the name would have been on the pin plate). A very nice matched set of NSDAP gold party badges which are always difficult to find. [Condition: Exc++]
WW2 GERMAN ARMY M35 MODEL SINGLE DECAL HELMET.
A very good example which I obtained directly from the son of the British Soldier who apparently took it from the body of a German soldier that he killed during the war. The original paint finish shows light wear, the army eagle and swastika decal is still about 85% remaining, it looks gold but it is actually silver which has toned with age.The interior of the helmet is still complete with leather liner and original chin strap. A very nice untouched example. [Condition: Exc++]

Very attractive mid orange grip is in mint condition. The silver pommel and crossguard are in excellent condition with fine detail to the red cross eagle and swastika to the crossguard. Superb mint blade. The scabbard still retains 99% of the silver platting, the scabbard suspension bands have circular holes which are often seen with social welfare straps but it was probably only a manufactures style but they are considerably rarer than the oblong type holes. The rare NSDAP gold party badge citation is named to PG FRANZ JOCHER of Ebensee and it is dated 16th April 1940, it is ink signed by Reichleiter Franz Xaver Schwarz who also held the rank of SS Oberstgrupenfuhrer (the highest SS rank under Heinrich Himmler, only four SS generals held this rank). Brown SA membership card / book giving Franz Jocher's full details, he was born on the 16.11.1897 in Ebensee, his occupation was machine operator. The card lists his award of the long service stripes of the SA for old fighters and which were worn on the tunic cuffs, the card also states that he was awarded the gold party badge and also the SA sports badge in bronze. Official SA stamps from 1940 until 1942, the card is signed by an SA officer, probably his SA unit commander. Complete with photograph of Jocker wearing what looks to be an overcoat without insignia but wearing NSDAP party badge. The last photograph shows a photocopy of a document which we have recently managed to locate from the NSDAP archives concerning Jocker.
