EXTREMELY RARE PANZER DOUBLE ENGRAVED ARMY SHORT MODEL PARADE BAYONET BY EICKHORN.

EXTREMELY RARE PANZER DOUBLE ENGRAVED ARMY SHORT MODEL PARADE BAYONET BY EICKHORN.

This is probably the rarest army engraved blade bayonet I have owned in over 30 years as Panzer engraved bayonets are exceptionally rare especially if double engraved but unfortunately there is some slight damage to this example but it is priced accordingly. Almost all silver plating remaining to hilt, the grip plates are in perfect condition. The obverse side of the blade is engraved in a long decorative panel and features a Panzer tank with tank commander in the turret of the tank and the Panzer skull and crossbones in foliage below the tank, long panel with army remembrance motto and the army eagle and swastika, the blade has been carefully sharpened in the past but unfortunately when this was accomplished part of the army eagle was polished out especially the birds wing on the wright side but the swastika amazingly is still in perfect condition. The reverse side features a long panel which is engraved, PANZER ABTEILUNG 24 and which is still in perfect condition, the blade is also nicely stamped with the Eickhorn Solingen 1935 /41 pattern trade mark. The matching short model scabbard still retains about 90% original black paint with one small dent to the reverse side. The bayonet is priced very realistically at a bargain price, if the blade was in mint condition the asking price would be at least three times my asking price. [Condition: Exc+]

THIRD REICH NAVAL DIVERS KNIFE.

THIRD REICH NAVAL DIVERS KNIFE.

A very difficult knife to find and which is very heavy and substantial in size, standard brass construction with brass handle and scabbard fitted with belt attachment. The ribbed handle unscrews from the scabbard to reveal a very sharp steel bladed knife, the knife has been used but over all it is in very nice condition and the rubber washer is still in place which forms the water tight seal between the hilt and the scabbard. A very good example of a German divers knife. [Condition: Exc++]

GOLD PARTY BADGE OF THE NSDAP.

GOLD PARTY BADGE OF THE NSDAP.

A very good large 30mm size badge as worn on the military or political uniform. The enamel center of the badge is perfect, the oakleath wreath still retains much original gilt finish. The reverse side features the safety pin style pin and hook, the pin plate is maker marked, Deschler & Sohn Munchen 9.The badge back plate has the air vent hole and is stamped with the owners NSDAP membership number being 95208. A very nice example, gold party badges are always in demand and nice examples are becoming very difficult to find. [Condition: Near Mint].

SS 1936 MODEL CHAINED LEADERS DAGGER.

SS 1936 MODEL CHAINED LEADERS DAGGER.

This interesting example started life as an SS Rohm honour dagger, in 1936 or just after the officer replaced the scabbard with a chained example but retained his original dagger, this is not unusual we often see this. All early nickel silver hilt fittings, the lower crossguard reverse side is stamped with the SS district stamp I. The black ebony grip is in excellent condition and it is fitted with the SS runic badge and silver eagle. The blade shows age wear and some spotting but it is still bright, the obverse side features the SS motto, the reverse side has been professionally factory ground to remove the offending Rohm inscription and when this was accomplished they also removed the makers trade mark so now it is plain with out inscription or trade mark so it nicly conforms to the 1936 pattern. The scabbard still retains at least 90% original black paint, the scabbard fittings are in excellent condition showing light wear, the center mount is decorated with linked swastikas. The chain hanger is the 1st pattern which is a lot harder to find than the 2nd pattern, inside the clover leaf you can see part of the letters of the DRGM stamping which you normally see on these scarce 1st pattern chains, the reverse side of one of the links has the SS acceptance stamp, the chain shows light wear. This SS officers dagger is not in mint condition and shows wear but it is priced accordingly and it is considerably under the normal retail price. [Condition: Exc+]
