All early nickel silver fittings have a nice age patina. Pommel and crossguard feature early style brass swastika inset disks. The blue leather grip is in fine condition. GERMAN NATIONAL SOCALIST NEWSPAPER DATED 2000.

This is a German language newspaper promoting WW2 and NS politics, it was published in the USA in May 2000 probably because it is illegal to publish such a newspaper in Germany. Complete with a British Socialist Workers leaflet advising the British public not to vote for the far right National front party, it probably dates from the 1980's. THIRD REICH ARMY OFFICERS SWORD BY ANTON WINGEN WITH RARE EARLY STYLE SHORT WING EAGLE AND SWASTIKA.

Early gilt brass hilt which still retains traces of the gilt finish. The black celluloid grip is in perfect condition. The crossguard features rare early type eagle with short pointed wings with excellent detail to the swastika, the backstrap is decorated with acorns and oakleaves.
