LUFTWAFFE 1ST MODEL DAGGER BY SMF WITH CHAIN HANGER AND KNOT.

This is an aluminium example in extremely nice condition. The aluminium hilt fittings are in perfect condition and the pommel and crossguard swastikas retain 100% original gilt finish which is rare to see as normally they are worn. The blue leather grip in in perfect condition. The blade is in mint condition and it features the SMF makers mark and also a waffen amp stamp. The scabbard is fitted with three matching aluminium fittings and they are in near mint condition, the blue leather is also in very nice condition with just a small scuff to the lower part close to the edge. Complete with matching aluminium chain hanger, the clip is in working order and it is mark OLC on the reverse side, fitted to the grip is a very nice aluminium knot. The dagger is close to near mint condition, A very nice complete set.
