DLV / NSFK FLYER'S KNIFE BY RARE MAKER COMPLETE WITH HANGER.

DLV / NSFK FLYER'S KNIFE BY RARE MAKER COMPLETE WITH HANGER.

This is a very early production example of the 1934 DLV dagger by E. P & S (Pack Solingen) which is a very rare maker for this model dagger. All early nickel silver fittings have a nice black age patina as they have not been cleaned for a very long time, the black enamel swastikas to the crossguard are in perfect condition. Fine condition blue leather grip showing just slight use and handerling but no damage. The blade of this example is very interesting as it is by Pack Solingen with there Seigfried trade mark, although this company is well known for there SA daggers and other models i do not recall ever having a DLV by this maker before and so it is obviously a very rare maker for this model dagger, the blade is also in very nice condition. The scabbard still retains all original blue leather and it is complete with matching early quality silver fittings, the scabbard throat is double stamped with the DLV acceptance stamp and also the NSFK acceptance stamp something not seen that often and it shows that the original owner of this dagger transfered from the DLV to the NSFK when this organization was established in 1937.When i purchased this dagger the original leather was complete but a little faded with age but some dark blue leather polish brought the colour back to life perfectly. A very interesting DLV dagger by a rare maker which is double marked and in fine condition. Some might remember this dagger as I featured it in one of the December up-dates, it was quickly reserved and payment was promised but never received so i am featuring it again. [Condition: Exc++]

NPEA MANS DAGGER BY BURGSMULLER.

NPEA MANS DAGGER BY BURGSMULLER.

The NPEA school system was established in 1933 to educate the most gifted German Children who would then hopefully in the years to come would be the new National Socialist leadership, after graduation from the NPEA they were encouraged to seek a career in the armed forces, party or the state organizations. The NPEA being an elite school system there were only about 40 schools ever established, the last one being in 1944 and with probably less than ten thousand students in total and many would never have received a dagger and so NPEA daggers are very rare. The silver plated crossguard's still retain much original silver finish. The brown wooden grip is plain with out insignia which is correct for the students dagger, the reverse side of the grip has some tiny nicks close to the upper crossguard but they are extremely minor. The blade features the NPEA students motto on the obverse side, WEHR SEIN ALS SCHEINEN (be more than you appear to be), the reverse side has the makers details, Karl Burgsmuller Berlin Charlottenburg 5, the blade is in very nice condition with just a few very faint marks from age. The scabbard is the standard Burgsmuller bayonet type and the underside of the scabbard frog stud has the all important stamping 753, the scabbard paint is the standard olive drab colour and it still retains about 85% original paint. The blade buffer pad is still in place which is nice to see as these are often missing. A very difficult dagger to find.[Condition: Exc++]

CASED WW2 GERMAN CROSS IN GOLD BY C.F.ZIMMERMANN, SUPERB CONDITION.

CASED WW2 GERMAN CROSS IN GOLD BY C.F.ZIMMERMANN, SUPERB CONDITION.

The reverse side features four rivets, pin and hook with makers number 20 which is the makers code for C.F.Zimmermann. The black leatherette case shows just slight wear just as you would expect after all these years but it has perfectly preserved and protected the award which is in mint condition, it would be very difficult to improve on this one as it is one of the nicest cased examples I have owned. COMPLETE SA UNIFORM BELONGING TO AN SA NCO COMPRISING, TUNIC, KEPI, BREECHES, BELT AND BUCKLE.

This extremely rare set belonged to one man and has never been in a collection before, the original owner served with the SA Group Sudmark in Austria. This SA four pocket brown tunic is the extremely rare SA Bergrock or mountain tunic and this is the first example i have owned in over 30 years, although i have sold many of the standard brown SA tunics. The brown wool tunic features two upper patch pocket and two lower slash pockets, attached to the front of the tunic are 4 silver buttons similar to a standard SA tunic but above this is a 5th metal button and a brown celluloid button so the tunic can be worn closed at the neck which was unique to the SA bergrock tunic, the collar of the tunic is piped in pink and white this being the SA group colours, the matching collar patches are also pink, the right collar patch features a single rank bar and metal pip for the rank of SA Oberscharfuhrer, the left collar patch features crossed metal pick and spade for the pioneers and the SA unit number for a member of the staff of SA Sturm 20.The tunic is fitted with correct single shoulder strap, pink and white piping on pink backing. Attached to the upper left pocket is a woven brown SA lanyard, the tunic is complete with swastika arm band, the interior features paper RZM tag and also an official SA unit stamp which is marked, Pionier Sturm 20 / GP5 Neselbach (this is a small town near Graz in Austria), this stamping perfectly matches the tunic collar patch unit number. There are loops on the tunic for one award and medal ribbon bar.The interior of the tunic is semi lined in the typical late 1930s style and it is complete with a cloth RZM tag. Brown wool ribbed breeches are the style worn by the SA and also other party organizations such as the HJ and NSDAP. Brown leather belt complete with brass buckle featuring the SA eagle and swastika. SA kepi, fine looking example showing light wear and produced in brown wool with a pink (Sudmark) center band, attached to the side of the kepi is a pink patch with silver aluminum edelweiss which is the unique insignia for the Sudmark SA group, the front of the kepi features silver eagle, single silver button and brown leather chin strap, the interior of the hat has a brown water proof lining and a leather sweat band, there is also a large black issue stamp which is a little worn now but appears to be, Unverkauflick GR.R. SA GU. An extremely rare and important complete SA uniform, a great addition for an SA collector, uniform collector or museum, this is probably one of the nicest and rarest SA uniforms i have owned.
