LARGE HITLER YOUTH COMMEMORATIVE WALL HANGING DIAMOND DATED 1933 WITH PHOTOGRAH.
This very large wooden hand made HJ swastika diamond stands at about 25 inches in height, it was constructed by an HJ unit to commemorate a fallen comrade the units leader and comes with a large photograph showing this or similar example being constructed.The swastika HJ diamond is of wood construction which has peen painted in the HJ colours and then 100's of small metal domed head pins have been applied to highlight the design. It has the following inscription,1933 DER 1 SCHARFUHRER DER SCHAR 100, GEWIDAMET VON DER SCHAR JOLDELUND, below this is a photograph of the deceased HJ unit leader in full uniform, AUGUST CHRISTIANSEN.The reverse side has metal fitting for wall mounting. Complete with a post war but still fascinating photograph depicting HJ boys constructing one of these commemorative diamonds. This example originally from the important and well established Philip Baker Hitler youth collection. A most amazing and fascinating item which is the only one i have ever offered for sale. POLITICAL LEADERS PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM COMMEMORATING AN ARMY UNIT IN THE LATE 1930s.
The album starts with a senior army officer and his Regiment being welcomed by the local NSDAP and SA leaders, high ranking political leader awarding a silver cup to the army officer commanding this unit. Army Standard being paraded. Army parade at barracks with HJ, party leaders, SA in attendance, speeches on a flag draped rostrum on parade field by SA Generals, NSDAP political leaders, Allgemine SS General, army General and a senior army officer. Good detailed photographs of various uniforms,Third Reich and Imperial army standards, vehicles and edged weapons in wear. A very interesting photograph album, over 60 photos in all. IMPERIAL GERMAN PRUSSIAN OFFICERS PICKELHAUBE HELMET WITH RARE TRENCH COVER.
Black leather skull is in excellent condition, complete with officers Prussian helmet plate, chin strap, cockades and spike to the top of the helmet, the brass fittings still show some original gilt finish. Interior features green felt lining, leather sweat band which shows wear, helmet is size marked 58. Complete with original and rare cloth helmet trench cover which is marked DRP. Purchased from a small English provincial auction and it has never been in a collection before. [Condition: Exc++]
LARGE SILVER HITLER YOUTH AWARD CUP ON MARBLE BASE.
This actual example is from the Philip Baker Hitler Youth collection and it is pictured in his book , YOUTH LED BY YOUTH, volume 2 page 105 & 106.The cup stands almost 10 inches in hight on its marble base, and has the following inscription, DEM SIGGER IM REICHSBERRUFSWETTKAMPF REICHSSIEGER KARL MUHLENHAUPT 14.8.1939. This presentation cup would have been awarded to Karl Muhlenhaupt in 1937 at the time of his award of the very rare Hitler youth Reichssieger badge. The goblet (pokel) has never been cleaned and has an attractive age patina, there is one ship out of the marble base on the reverse side. A superb display item, very rare and documented and published in a book. [Condition: Exc++]
ARMY NCO SHORT MODEL DELUXE PARADE BAYONET WITH ENGRAVED BLADE AND STAG HORN GRIP BY EICKHORN.
Almost all silver plating to hilt. Superb quality staghorn grip plates are in fine condition. Mint blade by Eickhorn Solingen featuring there stamped 1935 / 41 pattern trade mark, the blade is factory engraved on the obverse side with a long decorative panel featuring the army motto, ZUR ERINNERUNG AN MEINE DEIENSTZEIT (in memory of my service time), the motto is flanked by two large army eagle and swastikas, this really is a stunning blade. The matching short model scabbard still retains 99% of original scabbard paint. Short model parade bayonets with stag horn grips are hard to find. [Condition: Near Mint]
WAFFEN SS LEIPSTANDARTER ADOLF HITLER OFFICERS FLAT WIRE CUFF TITLE.
A superb example of the flat wire type SS officers cuff band for the elite ADOLF HITLER Regiment, this unit eventually became a division with an unrivaled reputation as an elite fighting force. This really is a beautiful example of an LAH officers cuff title and which has been removed from a tunic.[Condition: Near Mint]
HITLER YOUTH 1938 KREISSIEGER BADGE.
A very nice example, the white enamel to the center of the badge is in perfect condition with award description and date. All bronze finish remaining to the eagle and wreath.The HJ enamel swastika diamond is also in perfect condition.The reverse side features pin and hook and makers details, G.Brehmer Markneukirchen. POLITICAL LEADERS PEAK CAP WITH ORIGINAL BROWN LEATHERETTE STORAGE BOX.
This is a superb near mint example of a Political Leaders peak cap for the Ortsgruppe level of political leadership. Fine quality brown wool top with dark brown velvet cap band and blue pipings for Ortsgruppe. Complete with matching gilt metal eagle, cap cockade and gold cap cords which are held in place by two gold metal buttons.The interior of the hat is produced in a pale brown silk material with dark brown sweat band which is also in perfect condition, under the sweat band there is an RZM label. Complete with large brown leatherette hat storage box, the carrying handle is missing but other than that it is in fine condition. A superb looking hat in close to mint condition with rare political style brown leatherette box. [Condition: Near Mint]
NATIONAL SOCIALIST FRAUENSCHAFT HIGH LEADERS BADGE.
This rare example is for the Kreis level of political leadership. Silver triangular badge with oakleaf wreath, inset with black enamel triangular badge with white border for Kreis level and featuring silver eagle and swastika, life rune and award title.The reverse side features safety pin style pin and hook and makers details, RZM M1/24. A rare high award for ladies serving in the womens section (Fraunenschaft) of the NSDAP and this type was only awarded to leaders. [Condition: Mint]
LATE VICTORIAN OR EARLY 20TH CENTURY LARGE SCOTTISH HIGHLAND DIRK.
A very impressive Scottish dirk.The black hard wood grip is carved in the typical Celtic knotted design, the silver crossguard and pommel cap are decorated with Scottish thistles and the pommel is inset with a large orange faceted stone which is typical of these Scottish dirks. The long impressive blade is in near mint condition.Matching leather scabbard with four silver mounts two of which are fitted with a small knife and fork set both of which have identical wooden handles with thistle decorated caps inset with matching orange stones they are also fitted with chains which attached to the scabbard fittings so they can not be lost or mislaid.The reverse side of of the upper scabbard mount is stamped with a makers initials and also Scotland (latter examples are marked, Made in Scotland).The metal hilt fittings of the dirk and scabbard mounts appear to be silver but they are not silver marked so they could be heavily silver plated. A beautiful looking and very high quality Scottish highland dirk. Size 17 inches long with an 11 inch blade.[Condition: Near Mint]
