SS DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY RARE MAKER SCHUTTELHOFER COMPLETE WITH VERTICAL HANGER.
This is a rare SS dagger, over the years i have only offered a couple of other SS daggers by this maker as they are very hard to find. All early nickel silver fittings.The black ebony grip is in perfect condition and it is complete with silver eagle and SS runic insignia.The blade is in near mint condition, the obverse side features the SS motto and the reverse side features the makers name, Schuttelhoffer & Co, Solingen Wald and with there double hobby horse trade mark.The scabbard still retains at least 95% original black paint and it is fitted with matching nickel silver fittings. Complete with black leather vertical hanger frog. This dagger is identical to the one pictured in the Tom Wittmann's SS edged weapon book, page 21. A very nice dagger by a highly desirable and rare maker. [Condition: Exc++]
SS MANS DAGGER 1933 MODEL GROUND ROHM BY BOKER BELONGING TO SS UNTERSCHARFUHRER LUDWIG BIERMANN.
This actual dagger is pictured and described in Tom Wittmann's SS edged weapon book, page 86. This is a rare chance to buy a named SS dagger that has been published, the dagger is stamped with the original owners SS membership numbered but at the time of publication the owners identity was not known and this was only discovered subsequently by research of the official German archives. All early nickel silver fittings, the lower crossguard is SS group marked I and it is also stamped with the original owners SS membership number 38482, the nickel fittings have a nice age patina as the dagger has not been cleaned for some time.The black wooden grip is in superb condition and it is complete with SS insignia and silver eagle. The blade is in near mint condition, the obverse side features the SS motto and reverse side the makers trade mark for Boker Solingen and being there small oval trade mark, this pattern trademark was used on Bokers Rohm honour daggers, the dagger would originally had a Rohm inscription but this was removed after Rohms execution, the blade has been factory ground to a very high standard to remove the offending inscription. Black anodized scabbard with matching nickel silver fittings. Complete with black leather vertical hanger. The dagger comes with a large research folder concerning the original owner including a photograph of him wearing SS uniform. Ludwig Biermann was born in 1906 at Wolfhagen, he joined the NSDAP on the 1.10.1930 and the SA in November 1930, in 1933 he transfered to the Allgemeine SS and he received a number of promotions, by 1935 he was an SS Unterscharfuhrer serving with the 35th SS Standarter based at Kassel. A superb ground Rohm SS dagger which has it all, book published, owner identified with large research file, very desirable maker and vertical hanger. [Condition: Exc++]
THIRD REICH MINE SERVICE MEDAL.
This scarce award was instituted in 1938 and was awarded for long service or for outstanding service to the mine rescue service.The obverse side of this silver medal features crossed miners hammers and open wing eagle and swastika, the reverse side features an inscription. Complete with white, black and yellow silk ribbon. A scarce and difficult to find award, the last one i sold was at least five years ago. [Condition: Near Mint]
ARMY GENERALS PEAK CAP FOR THE TRUPPENSONDERDIENST OR TSD.
This specialist army department was formed in 1944 and had the distinction of using blue waffenfarbe piping on there hats and tunics, Generals caps were unique as the center band was piped in blue but with gold crown piping. Fine quality field gray top with dark green center band which is piped in the unique TSD blue waffenfarbe but the crown of the cap has Generals gold piping. Complete with gold bullion cap eagle, cockade and the gilt cap cords are held in place by two gold buttons. Interior features gold silk lining, plain celluloid patch and leather sweat band. Please see John Anglolia, Uniforms and Traditions of the German army 1933 - 1945 volume 1, pages 257 -257 for details of this rare army unit and which also describes the Generals peaked cap. An extremely rare army Generals peaked cap, this being the only Generals example of the TSD I have ever owned. [Condition: Near Mint]
UN-ISSUED POLITICAL LEADERS BUCKLE WITH ISSUE TAG.
Gilt metal circular buckle with large eagle and swastika to the center surrounded with an oak-leaf wreath, the reverse side is marked, RZM M4/22 . Complete with both metal keepers and rare manufactures paper RZM tag which has the RZM makers mark which matches the marking on the buckle. [Condition: Mint]
LUFTWAFFE PLAQUE FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN THE TECHNICAL BRANCH OF THE AIRFORCE.
This scarce medallion was Hermann Goring's personal award for those who had made a significant contribution to the technical development of the Luftwaffe, the award was instituted in July 1940. Obverse side features Goring's profile with inscription, the reverse side features Luftwaffe eagle with inscription. A scarce award. [Condition: Near Mint]
SA DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY MALSCH & AMBRONN COMPLETE WITH SCARCE 3 PEACE LEATHER VERTICAL HANGER.
All nickel silver fittings, the lower crossguard reverse side is SA group stamped Sa. Superb quality grip is in perfect condition and it is inset with SA insignia and silver eagle, the grain of the wood has a very attractive tiger stripe affect which is really impressive. The blade is in mint condition and it features the SA motto to the obverse side and the makers name to the reverse side, Malsch & Ambronn with the man with water pump trade mark. The scabbard retains almost 99% brown paint, it has been re-painted a long time ago almost certainly by the original owner, it is fitted with matching nickel silver mounts. Complete with scarce three piece leather hanger so the dagger can be worn vertically if required. It would be very difficult to find an SA dagger as nice as this one, highly recommended. GERMAN NAVAL OFFICERS DAGGER 1938 MODEL WITH SAILING SHIP ETCHED BLADE, HAMMERED SCABBARD & KNOT.
A beautiful and very impressive complete naval set. Mint white grip.The crossguard and eagle pommel still retain much original gilt finish and with excellent detail to the swastika.The blade is very impressive and it is in almost mint condition, it is etched with two long floral panels, the obverse side features a sailing ship with anchor above, the reverse side features a very large sailing ship, this really is a beautiful blade.The matching hammered scabbard is in superb condition and it still retains most of the original gilt finish.Complete with original naval portepee knot and a matching set of naval hangers.This is a very impressive set that i can highly recommend. SS EIGHT YEAR LONG SERVICE MEDAL.
This superb example retains almost all original factory finish. The medal is fitted with the correct beveled medal ring and the tear drop suspension loop. Complete with blue silk ribbon. The 8 year version of of the SS service medal is considerably harder to find than the 4 year SS medal and in my opinion they are considerably under valued at the moment. Complete with blue silk ribbon. [Condition: Mint]
