POSTSCHUTZE METAL PEAK CAP CAP COCKADE.
This is a very rare cap cockade to find, produced in aluminum and it features an oakleaf wreath with six lightning bolt sparks which was the symbol of the Postschutze. The reverse side is stamped with the makers mark which is a capital A for Assmann and it has three retaining pins but these might have been repaired in the past. During the war the Postschutze and its membership became a part of the SS. A very rare cockade to find, this is the 1st one I have ever offered for sale. [Condition: Exc++]
THIRD REICH POLICE WINTER MODEL ENLISTED MANS CAP.
This style of police hat looks similar to an M43 hat but they are of considerably earlier production being introduced into service in 1939, early examples had metal insignia but by 1942 this was changed to machine woven insignia. Police green wool body with the cloth flaps secured with one silver button, the crown of the cap is piped in police orange waffenfarbe. Attached to the front of the cap is a machine woven police eagle and cockade, this style of insignia was introduced in 1942 but before then they were issued with metal insignia. The interior of the hat features a gray leather sweat band and a quilted liner which is the normal style liner for this model hat. Some slight sweat staining to the inside but over all it is in superb condition.[Condition: Near Mint]
LUFTWAFFE RADIO OPERATOR AND AIR GUNNERS BADGE.
This is a superb maker marked early quality example with excellent detail to the eagle which is clutching the lightning bolts in its claws.The reverse side is fitted with pin and hook and it is maker mark for Deumer Ludenscheid. A really nice example. [Condition: Near Mint]
BRITISH 1871 PATTERN CAVALRY PARADE HELMET FOR THE 7TH DRAGOON GUARDS.
Brass helmet shell with brass fittings. Complete with large silver and brass helmet plate with number 7 to the center on black backing. Rose helmet bosses with brass chin chain on leather backing.Fluted helmet spike complete with black and white horse hair plume. The interior features brown leather liner which is possibly and old replacement but as these helmet were constantly re-issued and used over many years it is probably what you would expect. A SET OF THIRD REICH SHUMA POLICE SHOULDER STRAPS.
The Schutzmannschaften or better know as Shuma was made up of Baltic Russian volunteers serving with the German forces as police auxiliary's working closely with the SS / SD. Black backing with green edge piping and each embroidered with a large swastika. Because of the work this organization was involved in which included anti partisan operations many atrocity's were committed by the membership. [Condition: Near Mint]
RAD GENERALS COLLAR PATCHES.
This is a beautiful and very rare matched set of German RAD Generals collar patches. Each collar patch features a gold bullion wheatsheaf with gold bullion border on black velvet backing. In over 30 years this is only the 2nd set of RAD Generals collar patches I have ever owned, they are much harder to find than SS Generals collar patches as there were very few RAD Generals compared to other organizations. Perfect for a RAD or insignia collection, but they would also look really nice displayed with an RAD officers dagger. [Condition: Mint]
SA DAGGER BY HORSTER WITH PRESENTATION INSCRIPTION TO BLADE.
This is an early issue SA dagger in superb near mint condition, the blade has a presentation inscription on the reverse side, some experts believe that this inscription exists and that it is original to the period but others consider it is a later addition, a number of daggers exist with this exact same inscription. Because there are some doubts i have priced the dagger at just about what i would charge for it if it had a standard blade without a presentation inscription. All early nickel silver fittings are in fine condition and the lower crossguard is SA group stamped Ha.The pommel nut is very interesting as it is decorated with a swastika, i have seen this several times on SA daggers but certainly not very often.The fine quality brown wooden grip is inset with the SA insignia and a silver eagle, the quality of the grip is exceptional.The blade is in near mint condition, the obverse side features the SA motto and the reverse side has a two line presentation inscription, SA SKIURELTKAMPF 1936 SCHREIBERHAN, and it is then signed, HALZER BRIGADFUHRER, the blade is maker marked Horster Solingen, the quality of the presentation inscription is exceptional but it could still be a latter addition, it is really difficult to say for sure but the blade itself is certainly original. The Scabbard is also in exceptional condition and still retains almost all brown anodized finish and it is fitted with matching nickel silver mounts, one scabbard screw is now missing but the other three are still in place and replacements are fairly easy to find. The dagger itself is original only the inscription is questionable, so a bargain price because of this and especially if the inscription turns out to be original. [Condition: Near Mint]
SS DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY KLASS.
All early nickel silver fittings, the lower crossguard is SS group marked I. The ebony grip is inset with silver eagle and SS runic badge. Mint blade by Klass Solingen, featuring the SS motto to the obverse side and the makers detail to the reverse side. Black anodized scabbard still retains much original factory lacquer. Complete with vertical black leather frog hanger. [Condition: Exc++]
RARE HJ BADGE OF THE GERMAN YOUTH CHAMPION 1944 IN SILVER.
This Hitler youth sports badge was instituted in 1942. Silver oval badge with oakleaf wreath with inscription, KAMPFSPEAL 1944 and with HJ painted diamond to the center on blue painted background which is correct style for the 1944 award.The reverse side features safety pin style pin and hook. [Condition: Near Mint]
ALLGEMEINE SS ARM BAND.
A superb SS arm band to complete a black SS tunic, this example is in mint condition. Red wool arm band with separately applied white circle and black swastika with black border to top and bottom edge.The reverse side features RZM / SS paper issue tag, the arm band is also printed in large white letters, RZM in a circle, this mark is occasionally seen on cloth items and it is an especially nice feature to see. Removed from a tunic but still in superb mint condition.[Condition: Mint]
