Steel hilt, the rifle slot is still in good working order. The brown wooden grip plates are in perfect condition. The blade is in excellent condition and has various makers marks, Remington factory stamp, US mark and it is also dated 1917. All brass fittings with much gilt remaining, fine detail to the eagle pommel with good clear swastika. The very nice white celluloid grip is in excellent condition.
