This is a very early and unusual army dagger which is almost a prototype, it is not maker marked but I believe the maker is probably Pack Solingen. A very nice mid war example which still retains at least 90% gilt finish. Fine detail to the Viking ship and the silver globe, the globe is surface mounted and held in place by a small rivet.
