This very nice and impressive set comprises, WW1 Iron cross 2nd class, Hanover 1914 / 18 medal, 1914 / 18 cross of honour with swords, Prussian officers 25 year long service cross in gold, Prussian Kyffhauer veterans medal. FRENCH CAVALRY TROOPERS SWORD, 19th CANTUARY.

This sword appears to be the French 1882 model but there are other similar earlier models which are almost identical, some of which were also used in the American civil war.
