This popular style fur hat is modelled on the Russian army hat and which was ideal for winter warfare in Russia. Field grey body with rabbit fur sides and flaps, fitted with army metal eagle and swastika. The interior has an artificial silk ribbed lining and it is maker marked and dated 1942. THIRD REICH NAVAL OFFICERS DAGGER BY WKC WITH SAILING SHIP BLADE,ORANGE GRIP AND HAMMERED SCABBARD.

Excellent detail to the brass eagle pommel and crossguard which still retain traces of the original gilt finish. This is a good RZM example. The crossguards show slight wear to the plated fittings but they still retain about 90% plating which is much better than most.
