Pressing a button on the wooden handle releases the handle and blade from the matching scabbard and reveals a lethal blued steel blade which is etched, Recuerdo Punato Toledo. THIRD REICH K98 BAYONET WITH MATCHING NUMBERS.

This interesting K98 combat bayonet has been silver plated possibly during the original wearing period but why I have no idea but the plating is certainly very old and shows age.
