These decorative gilt brass tins were presented by Princess Mary at Christmas 1914 to the British troops. This is a rare survivor containing the original contents. Packet of cigarettes complete with original label, seven cigarettes still remain, Packet of tobacco with contents and label. Brown cotton top with green canter cloth band for SA Group Nordmark. Complete with brown chin strap, silver SA eagle and gold button which is correct for this SA group. Inside features brown cloth lining and sweat band which shows wear but no damage, there is no RZM label as it is probably too early for this.
