Silver basket hilt showing light wear with King George the 6th Royal cypher 1936-52. Fish skin grip is in excellent condition. Plain steel blade is in excellent condition. Scabbard is the silver dress type with two suspension rings. It is much harder to find the WW2 version of this sword, most which you find are WW1 period. Complete with officers sword knot. JAPANEASE WW2 NCO SWORD WITH MATCHING ISSUE NUMBERS.

The metal hilt still retains about 85% brown paint to the artificial binding. The swivel loop is still in place. Brass suba with issue stamps above. THIRD REICH NSFK FLYERS KNIFE BY SMF COMPLETE WITH HANGER.

This is a superb quality example that was purchased privately and it has never been in a collection. All nickel silver fittings have a nice age patina as the dagger has never been cleaned.
