VICTORIAN HAMPSHIRE REGIMENT MARTINGALE (HORSE BRASS).

This is a very large martingale or horse brass and it is certainly the largest one i have owned measuring over 6 inches long, these were used as Regimental decoration for army horses.This martingale is designed to look like the other rank helmet plate of the Hampshire Regiment. Mounted on leather backing with suspension strap. [Condition: Near Mint]
