A good early quality example. The black celluloid grip plates are in perfect condition and the obverse side is complete with the HJ enamel diamond badge with swastika and it is perfect condition. The silver metal hilt fitting still retain much original finish with just slight wear from the rubbing of the leather grip strap over many years, the top of the pommel is engraved with the original owners initials. The blade is in excellent condition just showing light age wear, the obverse side features the Hitler Youth motto and it is still very clear, the reverse side is maker marked, J.A.Henckels Solingen Zwillingswerk and features there twins trade mark. The scabbard retains approcamatly 90% original black paint and it is complete with black leather belt loop and grip strap. Exc++
