GERMAN TENO OFFICERS DAGGER BY EICKHORN.

The orange grip is in mint condition. Almost all silver plating remaining to the crossguard with fine detail to the Teno eagle and swastika. The pommel retains 90% original silver plating with slight loss of plating to the top edge of the pommel. The long impressive blade is still very bright with just some minor age wear, the obvers side is stamped with the Teno issue number 765, the reverse side is etched with the Teno eagle and the Eickhorn Solingen 1935 / 41 trade mark and which was the only maker of the Teno dagger. The scabbard still retains some of the original factory blackened finish, the throat is stamped with the matching Teno Issue number 765. A very nice example of a rare dagger.
