This is the 1889 model sword for a Dragon officer. BRITISH WW1 MILITARY SWAGGER STICK OF THE MIDDLESEX REGIMENT.

Black lacquered wooden handle with ball pommel with brass mount and mounted below this the badge of the Middlesex Regiment. The base of the stick has a matching brass mount.
