RAD GENERALS COLLAR PATCHES.

RAD GENERALS COLLAR PATCHES.

This is a beautiful and very rare matched set of German RAD Generals collar patches. Each collar patch features a gold bullion wheatsheaf with gold bullion border on black velvet backing. In over 30 years this is only the 2nd set of RAD Generals collar patches I have ever owned, they are much harder to find than SS Generals collar patches as there were very few RAD Generals compared to other organizations. Perfect for a RAD or insignia collection, but they would also look really nice displayed with an RAD officers dagger. [Condition: Mint]

SA DAGGER BY HORSTER WITH PRESENTATION INSCRIPTION TO BLADE.

SA DAGGER BY HORSTER WITH PRESENTATION INSCRIPTION TO BLADE.

This is an early issue SA dagger in superb near mint condition, the blade has a presentation inscription on the reverse side, some experts believe that this inscription exists and that it is original to the period but others consider it is a later addition, a number of daggers exist with this exact same inscription. Because there are some doubts i have priced the dagger at just about what i would charge for it if it had a standard blade without a presentation inscription. All early nickel silver fittings are in fine condition and the lower crossguard is SA group stamped Ha.The pommel nut is very interesting as it is decorated with a swastika, i have seen this several times on SA daggers but certainly not very often. The fine quality brown wooden grip is inset with the SA insignia and a silver eagle, the quality of the grip is exceptional. The blade is in near mint condition, the obverse side features the SA motto and the reverse side has a two line presentation inscription, SA SKIURELTKAMPF 1936 SCHREIBERHAN, and it is then signed, HALZER BRIGADFUHRER, the blade is maker marked Horster Solingen, the quality of the presentation inscription is exceptional but it could still be a latter addition, it is really difficult to say for sure but the blade itself is certainly original. The Scabbard is also in exceptional condition and still retains almost all brown anodized finish and it is fitted with matching nickel silver mounts, one scabbard screw is now missing but the other three are still in place and replacements are fairly easy to find. The dagger itself is original only the inscription is questionable, so a bargain price because of this and especially if the inscription turns out to be original. [Condition: Near Mint]

ALLGEMEINE SS ARM BAND.

ALLGEMEINE SS ARM BAND.

A superb SS arm band to complete a black SS tunic, this example is in mint condition. Red wool arm band with separately applied white circle and black swastika with black border to top and bottom edge. The reverse side features RZM / SS paper issue tag, the arm band is also printed in large white letters, RZM in a circle, this mark is occasionally seen on cloth items and it is an especially nice feature to see. Removed from a tunic but still in superb mint condition.[Condition: Mint]

HITLER YOUTH KNIFE, NEAR MINT CONDITION.

HITLER YOUTH KNIFE, NEAR MINT CONDITION.

This is a late ware example in beautiful condition. The silver plated hilt retains almost all silver plating just showing light wear from the rubbing of the button on the grip strap. The black celluloid grip plates are in mint condition and the obverse side is inset with the HJ enamel swastika diamond. The blade is in near mint condition, the reverse side is stamped RZM M7/33 which is the makers code for F.W.Holler Solingen. The scabbard still retains 100% original black paint and it is fitted with belt loop and grip strap but this is the rare late war type constructed from plastic celluloid, i have had several of these rare hangers in the past but not very many, they are a rare late ware economy measure as leather was needed for the armed forces. A rare variation in exceptional condition and which i can highly recommend.[Condition: Near Mint]

THIRD REICH LONG MODEL FIRE SERVICE BAYONET WITH SAWBACK BLADE BY MOST UNUSUAL MAKER AND COMPLETE WI

THIRD REICH LONG MODEL FIRE SERVICE BAYONET WITH SAWBACK BLADE BY MOST UNUSUAL MAKER AND COMPLETE WI

The hilt still retains all silver finish. The black celluloid grip plates are in fine condition. Mint and very impressive sawback blade, the reverse side is maker marked, E.SCHARFF KOBER & CO, PELIKAN FRANKFURT, and with the trade mark of a pelican sitting on its nest and feeding two baby pelikans, I have never seen this mark before and i am not sure if they were a maker or a distributer of edged weapons, it is most unusual to say the least. The scabbard retains 98% original black paint. Complete with black leather frog and police type portepee knot rather than the fire service type but as the fire service was a part of the police this could still be used and it has obviously been on this bayonet for a very long time. [Condition: Near Mint]

SS MANS DAGGER 1933 MODEL GROUND ROHM BY BOKER BELONGING TO SS UNTERSCHARFUHRER LUDWIG BIERMANN.

SS MANS DAGGER 1933 MODEL GROUND ROHM BY BOKER BELONGING TO SS UNTERSCHARFUHRER LUDWIG BIERMANN.

This actual dagger is pictured and described in Tom Wittmann's SS edged weapon book, page 86. This is a rare chance to buy a named SS dagger that has been published, the dagger is stamped with the original owners SS membership numbered but at the time of publication the owners identity was not known and this was only discovered subsequently by research of the official German archives. All early nickel silver fittings, the lower crossguard is SS group marked I and it is also stamped with the original owners SS membership number 38482, the nickel fittings have a nice age patina as the dagger has not been cleaned for some time. The black wooden grip is in superb condition and it is complete with SS insignia and silver eagle. The blade is in near mint condition, the obverse side features the SS motto and reverse side the makers trade mark for Boker Solingen and being there small oval trade mark, this pattern trademark was used on Bokers Rohm honour daggers, the dagger would originally had a Rohm inscription but this was removed after Rohms execution, the blade has been factory ground to a very high standard to remove the offending inscription. Black anodized scabbard with matching nickel silver fittings. Complete with black leather vertical hanger. The dagger comes with a large research folder concerning the original owner including a photograph of him wearing SS uniform. Ludwig Biermann was born in 1906 at Wolfhagen, he joined the NSDAP on the 1.10.1930 and the SA in November 1930, in 1933 he transfered to the Allgemeine SS and he received a number of promotions, by 1935 he was an SS Unterscharfuhrer serving with the 35th SS Standarter based at Kassel. A superb ground Rohm SS dagger which has it all, book published, owner identified with large research file, very desirable maker and vertical hanger. [Condition: Exc++]
