SA DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY HAMMESFAHR WITH RARE UNIQUE BROWN LEATHER FROG HANGER.
Over the years I have owned many different types of vertical SA frog hangers and i have always found them extremely interesting, the one i am offering now is very unusual and I have not see this pattern before, it is also original to this dagger and came as a set. All early nickel silver fittings, the lower crossguard reverse side is stamped with the SA group mark S.The grip is in perfect condition, the insignia has aged and oxidized as they have never been cleaned and they look really attractive but they could easily be cleaned if required. The blade is in mint condition, the obverse side features the SA motto and the reverse side the makers details, Hammesfahr Cie Solingen with there swimming man trade mark. The brown anodized scabbard has matching nickel silver mounts and they are in beautiful condition, scabbard shell still retain much original factory finish. Attached to the scabbard is a very unusual and probably unique brown leather vertical frog hanger which has always been attached to this dagger. [Condition: Near Mint]
LAND CUSTOMS DAGGER BY HORSTER.
This is an especially nice example as it still retains much of its original silver frosted finish and it has a mint blade. The green leather grip is in mint condition. Aluminium customs style crossguard and pommel are in fine condition. Near mint blade by Horster Solingen. The scabbard still retains all green leather and it is fitted with steel scabbard fittings with a silver frosted finish, most customs daggers had this finish to the scabbard fittings but normally it is worn away. This is an extremely nice example which I can highly recommend. [Condition: Near Mint]
